Occupational Therapist

I obtained my Honours degree in Occupational Therapy from Stellenbosch University in 2009 and have since gained experience in psychiatry, hand therapy, physical rehabilitation, functional capacity and ergonomic evaluations, vocational rehabilitation, and student training. In 2014, after relocating to the Eastern Cape, I joined Watermeyer & Van der Merwe Occupational Therapists, where I further developed my expertise in psychiatry, vocational and cognitive rehabilitation, group therapy, and functional capacity evaluations. I later established a private practice in Patensie, offering pediatric and antenatal care as both an Occupational Therapist and Certified Lactation Consultant. I remain committed to holistic, client-centered care—guided by the pillars of Faith, Family, and Occupation—and inspired by the starfish philosophy to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.
