Our practice directors, Marlize Watermeyer and Chanette van der Merwe was selected as speakers at the World Psychiatric Congress (WPC). They attended this conference amidst November 2016 in Cape Town and presented a workshop on the importance of work in mental health. This workshop was a collaboration with psychiatrist, Prof. Grobler, psychologist, Prof. van Niekerk, Labour relations specialists Prof Linde and Mr. Watermeyer.

At this presentation the book co-authored by these role players were launched. This book aims at providing medical practitioners with practical guidelines pertaining to mental health and work. This group introduced ThinkWork, which is the product of all their individual and collaborative research and clinical experience, what an exciting new venture for work and mental health in South Africa!
