I graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Pretoria in 2017 (Bachelors in Occupational Therapy). Thereafter, I completed my community service year at a rural hospital in the Eastern Cape. During this year, I was involved in establishing the Occupational Therapy services at the hospital, and learnt about the value of occupational therapy for a variety of people.

Since being employed with Watermeyer and van der Merwe Occupational Therapists, it has been an honour to help my patients on a daily basis, and to continue to develop my skills. Through completion of the Interdisciplinary Pain Management diploma, I look forward to being able to assist with a more holistic approach to helping my patients manage their experience of acute and chronic pain and work towards a life worth living.
